Day Two
We're still alive. Amen.

Tuesday, October 24, 2006
There's a person you spend most of your time with and you start having the same thoughts right? I find this so fascinating. How does an idea pop from one persons brain to another such that you think it at almost the exact same time. I know our brains are mostly water and work by electrical impulses, but between each other? Maybe there is a prethought that we are unaware of and then it becomes actual thought. Hell, I don't know.

Osmosis is the movement of water through a semipermeable membrane from a region of low solute potential to a region of high solute potential (or equivalently, from a region of high solvent potential to a region of low solvent potential).

In other words, nothing to do with this post!

In other news:

My other son is getting his temps today! During winter! Isn't that just great!!!

Premature E......Ending
The Michelin Man has been returned to his owner. I guess he just didn't like a girl getting one over on him. It didn't help that his co-worker told the story to some people from Michelin and they rode him pretty bad. I still had many ideas for future ransome notes, but alas, he was being a baby. So, I returned him.

In other news:

The weather is so crappy. I love Fall, but this rainy yucky weather makes me want to sleep 24 hrs a day. A little sun would be nice, please God, Amen.

The kids won't even wake up. What would they do if I wasn't there to prod them 15 billion times to get in the damn shower? And then I get lip for it. "Gawd, leave me alone" "Shut-up". I just roll my eyes and think "teenagers". Part of me knows that time will fly and they'll be bringing home laundry from college. It's amazing how time flys from the time their born to now. Little children that wrap their arms around your neck and say "I love you"; all the way to "don't touch me". That cracks me up and I grab them and hug them and touch their hair. God how they hate it. It's so funny. Ok, so I'm about to cry. Just stop it!

Check you cats lata!

Bullet Point Brigade
The saga continues for the poor poor Michelin Man. You see, Kenny took him off to some where unknown and then he practically tried to like saw him in half. He (the Michelin Man's "owner") could put an end to all of this by following the few demands asked of him. But has he, does he? No! So poor poor Michelin Man is still captive as witnessed in these photos.

I have tried three, NO four times to download the damn pictures. Arrrggg.
Why does it seem that every single time I have to pee at work that someone is in there takin a crap. I don't know if I've told you before, but poop really really grosses me out. Especially co-worker poop, not my kid's poop, or my girl's poop. Well, theirs too, but not as bad. On top of that shit, I'm the designated toilet unstopper in the house. How fair is that? huh?

I know there's some other stupid shit I witnessed today, but I forgot what it was. FYI, I have a bad short term memory.

Oh, and another thing, I can check my kids grades online, but do I wanna see them everyday? They may have had a bad day or something. The end result is what I care about. But what if a bad grade is a trend and I need to do a smack down? See my dilema?

There were bullet points here, believe me, but blogger was screwing it all up. So let's just pretend.

Homecoming 2006

Friday, October 06, 2006

I'm a very sentimental person. When people decide to leave the company I work for and move on to another job, I often ask them for a little something to remember them by. So far I have collected a teddy bear, an Aflac Duck that talks, a mini Christmas bear with reindeer horns, and a plaque from China.

One of my favorite people did not actually leave, but was promoted and went to another nearby lab. Our relationship was one of joking and laughing and practical jokes. When he left, he gave me his little Kenny from South Park foam figure. Another person left who we both were close to and he had a Michelin Man figurine. Now I knew that D would want this very very badly, but just to get his gizzard, I was able get it first. I had it in the back of my mind that I would then send it to him for his birthday later in the year. Well this is exactly what I did and do you know that he did not even acknowledge it! So this week, he was in the office and I was just dogging him about how he didn't even call me.

So, I hatched a plan for revenge of unmannered Mr. D! I called my girl up at the lab he works in and we KIDNAPPED the Michelin Man. The first ransom note will be delivered on Monday along with the first picture below. The note reads as follows:

The K is for Kenny. Get it? He gave me Kenny. I will be sending the second picture on Tuesday along with another note and THEN, I'm (I mean Kenny) is taking the Michelin Man to Cincinnati so as to not to be located. I haven't come up with the ending yet, but the revenge has begun!

Free for all Friday
Yeah, it's Friday. Now that's something good!

My better half and I had our first counseling appt yesterday. That's good too! We have issues you see. I'm not the great communicator. She has serious trust issues. I really want this to last, so we are working on constructive ways to get through our problems.

Homecoming is tomorrow! I'm going with Sean to take pictures. She's wearing white, he's wearing black. I was brushing my teeth this morning and he came in to tell me about his plans for tonight and he starts flexing in the mirror while we're talking. He cracks me up! I have to say I'm so proud of him for making exercise a part of his life. Hopefully this will be a life long habit.

Next week I'll be in Cincinnati for the ACS Rubber Division Mini-expo. You know, rubber is a lot more interesting than you'd think! Heee heee. I'm a rubber nerd. Ever heard that one? No? Well you're really missing out!

Exclamation, Exclamation.

Beep! Beep! Calling all Cars! Calling all Cars!
Whenever I'm preparing to write a post, whether I know the topic or not, these titles just pop in my head. See that title above, have no idea where that came from. I mean, I know where it's from, but it just popped in my head. And NO, not I, nor anyone I know (kids) got pulled over or arrested this weekend. Whooo hooo! One more weekend went by without anybody going to the pokey! Can we hear an AMEN!!!

Well, I have a dilemma, I've caught my son smoking the dreaded P.O.T.! Yep, drug tested his ass. I believe that many kids that attend St. V smoke pot. He tells me this is so. But let me tell you folks, MY SON IS NOT GOING TO CONTINUE. PERIOD. I put my damn foot down on his ass last night and told him if he tests positive again, we're gettin rid of his car. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. I laid it out real clear for him so there wouldn't be any negotiations. Three weeks and another test. I'll let ya know how it comes out. Not losing another person I love to addiction. Mkay, good.

Okay, something good, think of something good, ummmm, wow, pretty bad if I have to sit here and TRY to think of something good. Okay, ummmm................well umm..............ya could be worse. There ya go! Have a nice day!

Werd of the day:
Lariet - those big long shoe lace like material things you put your keys on. It's not Lariet dumbass, it's a Lanyard! Too bad, I'll never remember that, so to me it's a Lariet.
