Milestones

And we're off. Here's my oldest on his very first drive (legally that is). And where do we go? McDonalds of course. I had my foot pressed to the floor board the entire way as well as a death grip on the door handle. I'm so proud yet so scared at the same time.

Wow - a kid on his first real legal drive. I remember when I was taking driving lessons, the instructor called me "Lead Foot" because I drove so fast. And I haven't stopped driving that way!

Hope he is very careful and very safe!

I remember my mom doing the same exact thing. She used to hit the brakes too...it drove me crazy.

Luckily, she doesn't do it anymore. I guess my driving has improved.

I learned to drive before my mom did. I missed out.

I'm assuming you both made it home safely! Hope McDonalds was good!
It didn't take me long to master the art of Drive thru's.
Have a great day!

And now you don't have to drive him around everywhere! That's gotta be a great feeling, eh?

Look at that grin! No wonder you've got your hands full with that one free :)

Congrats and may sanity be with you.

haha My mom ALWAYS did that pressing her foot to the floor thing when I started driving - come to think of it, she STILL does it when she drives with me, and I've been driving for almost eight years. And I'm a good driver. =)

Here from Michele's. Have a great weekend.
